Training course on Communities of Practice

DEVCO Unit 04 and the MKS Programme have developed a full-day training course entitled "Managing Communities of Practice (CoPs) online: Making the Best of Capacity4dev" .

The purpose of the course on Communities of Practice (CoPs) is to give participants an understanding of how to grow and nurture an engaging online community.

The main topics of the training were:

  • Core CoP concepts, as well as key advantages and challenges of working through CoPs;

  • Overview of strategies and tactics to optimise and blend the key CoP elements: defining community purpose, planning content provision, facilitation and community growth;

  • Resources to define and prioritise interventions for your CoP, as well as tips, practices and templates that you can integrate in your CoP management.

I am very sorry... the good news though is that the links that Jasper was referring to (to the PPT) are fixed. And I'll find out if we can put the recorded webinar on another platform so you can see it.
