Peace and Security

Security, justice and human rights are closely interlinked, often relying on the same actors but under the authority of different powers (executive, legislative or judicial) and also implying civil society. This section covers the wide range of support that donors can provide in these areas, including justice system reform, access to justice, security sector reform, DDR, small arms and light weapons and mine action. The section also covers cross-cutting dimensions related to conflict prevention and peace-building.
