Central Africa region environmental profile (2007)

The Regional Environmental Profile of Central Africa covers the 6 countries from the Communauté économique et monétaire de l’Afrique centrale - CEMAC (Chad, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo) and two additional countries belonging to the Economic Community of Central African States - ECCAS, which are expected to join CEMAC, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sao Tome and Principe.

The purpose of the environmental profiles is to feed discussions on the environment and possible consequences environmental trends may have on regions socio-economic development, and more specifically, to assist the EU in programming its EDF assistance to the regions.
