Asian region environmental profile (2006)

This document presents the environmental profile of the Asian region, covering 18 countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma/Myanmar, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.

 The purpose of the environmental profiles is to feed discussions on the environment and possible consequences environmental trends may have on regions socio-economic development, and more specifically, to assist the EU in programming its EDF assistance to the regions.
