- Cathedral Camps
- Work on restoring ancient cathedrals, abbeys, chapels and parish churches with groups of young people from all over the world. Camps run for a week during July and August, and are based throughout the UK. Download a brochure and order a free video to find out more. - Concordia
- This charity aims to bring young people together so that they can learn about different cultures. People aged 16-30 can take part in the projects, and there are special camps for teenagers aged 16+. Choose from a range of activities in Europe, North America, North Africa, Japan and South Korea. Make sure you check the age requirements for each project!

- Everything’s Possible
- Hosts summer camps in the North and South of England (and sends out young people from the UK to volunteer abroad as well). The camps involve working with children from the UK and other countries, and last for 7-10 days. Activities involve sport, music and dance.

- Forest School Camps
- Environmental work camps in the UK for people aged 17 and over. Work involves construction and restoration. There are no fees, although you will be asked to make a small contribution to daily living costs. Volunteers from overseas can apply.

- An organisation that promotes social justice through encouraging people to work together and help one another. It runs a number of programmes that operate as work camps. The programmes range from conservation camps to projects helping people with special needs. You can apply online.

- Thistle Camps
- Organises archaeological and conservation work camps throughout Scotland. Trailblazers camps are designed for 16-17 year olds, combining conservation work with action-adventure activities. For some camps volunteers need to be physically fit, as the work can be demanding. UK residents aged 16+ can apply for all camps, but if you live outside the UK you need to be 18+.

- If an outdoor holiday spent working with people from all over the UK and beyond appeals to you, have a look at this site. This conservation charity runs Canal Camps, where volunteers get together to help renovate neglected canals at various locations in the UK.
