Volunteering / exchanges - Slovenia

Many people want to help others in some way, to change and improve the world. Lots of them just think about it, but some actually take action. There are those who prefer to stay in Slovenia, while others choose go abroad. How to become a volunteer, participate in a work camp or take part in a youth exchange: it’s all described in the following pages.

Association for the Development of Preventive and Volunteer Work

The association develops and supports civil initiatives, aiming to prevent the development of negative social phenomena and to solve them in a creative way. It unites individuals and groups with similar interests, supports the development of the non-governmental sector and facilitates the development of prevention programmes and volunteering, escpecially in the field of social security and health.
