The volunteer will work in Social Welfare Home in Gdynia. The task of Social Welfare Home (Dom Pomocy Społecznej) is to provide residents with the full time care and to meet their essential needs: living needs, nursery needs and provide support in accordance with applicable standards, and to enable inhabitants to properly take advantage of the health services (based on separate law regulations). Involvement of volunteer in our work means various tasks, varying depending on the current needs. These include supporting work in Occupational Therapy which is kind of therapy which using different kind of therapy as art therapy, music therapy, bibliotherapy, etc. In this field volunteer can support different activities and thematic group by doing for example handicraft workshop, reading books or dancing class. Is also possible to support the rehabilitation of our residents. We can also propose to work in the kitchen as a kitchen help, work in the garden.
