The "Grüne Schule grenzenlos" e.V. is a non-profit organisation committed to youth- and environmental education. It fits to the category of "small" NGO and employs approx. 15 staff members. Volunteers are fully intergrated to all the "Grüne Schule's" activities. Its philosophy is to communicate knowledge via own experience and practical skills. "Grüne Schule grenzenlos" designes project days/weeks for schools, international youth meetings, excursions, holiday camps, trainings, cultural events, workshops, etc. Its fields of interest are nature conservation and protection of species, forest pedagogy, environmental education, organic farming, multicultural dialogs, tolerance, democratic citizenship and international cooperation. The target groups are school kids, students of higher education, as well as adults and seniors. The aims are to develop and deepen the international understanding and to contribute to the nature conservation and regional sustainable development in the Ore Mountains.
