Work in another European country

Či už ste čerstvý absolvent alebo ste vo svojej domovskej krajine už získali určité pracovné skúsenosti, veľkú kariéru môžete urobiť kdekoľvek v Európe.

Whether you've just graduated or already have some work experience at home, you can make your career anywhere in Europe – if you're willing to try a new country.

Aside from the professional benefits, working abroad can give you new personal skills and cultural insights, including possibly the chance to learn a new language.

Where can I work?

As an EU national, you're entitled to work – without needing a work permit – in any EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland.

However, there are always certain conditions you need to be aware of when working and living in another country.

And if you're a national of Bulgaria or Romania, the EU's newest members, you may also be subject to certain transitional rules.

6 steps to working in Europe

EURES, the European Job Mobility Portal, has some useful tips on the 6 most important steps in the process of getting a job abroad – from finding vacancies to settling in your new country.
