How to find a job ?
Application and job interview
Depending on your nationality, you can either write a French CV or a European Europass CV. Your cover letter must present your arguments, be clear and adapted to each company. Job interview: If you do not have any real experience, highlight your knowledge, your skills, your hobbies, your personal talents, and your motivation.
French employment law also applies to summer jobs. You can work from 14, but it is rather difficult to find a job at that age. The employer must offer you a written work contract within 48 hours after hiring you. Your salary should be at least the minimum wage (“SMIC” in France): 1 480,27€ per month for 35 hours per week. Apply for a European Health Insurance Card and make sure the employer applies for social insurance for you.
