A Citizens’ Agora to combat youth unemployment
The European Parliament Citizens’ Agora wants to gather young people from all over Europe to discuss the current challenges in the employment market. The discussion will take place in Brussels from 6 to 8 November 2013. Join in!
The European Parliament will invite two young people from each Member State of the EU to this conference - one who is employed and one who is unemployed - to share their experiences, debate with other young people and come up with recommendations for Europe’s politicians to tackle youth unemployment.
To apply you should:
- be between 18 and 30 years old and reside in one of the EU’s 28 Member States
- be able to debate in English, French, German or Spanish
- have the authorisation to travel, as certain unemployment agencies may impose travel restrictions (the European Parliament can provide you with an attendance certificate).
If you are interested you should fill out the online application form until 31 August 2013.
The European Parliament will cover transport and accommodation costs for all participants.
