Leonardo da Vinci helps students, trainees and recent graduates go on international placements in business or training institutions.
The programme is also open to vocational professionals and anyone from organisations active in this field.
How to apply
To be eligible you should be doing, or have recently graduated from a vocational or higher-education course in one of these participating countries:
Is this you? Then contact the placement officer, or European/International office in your institution.
Leonardo applications must be submitted by organisations, not individuals. For more details, contact the Leonardo agency in your country.
“This placement was a life changing experience for me as it gave me the opportunity to experience a completely different human reality and to grow up as a person. Theoretically, I had learnt what social work should be, but being in contact with real people with real serious integration problems, is a completely different story. Through this experience, I was able to bring lots of new knowledge to my present job.”
Andreia Alves, from Portugal, studied social work and went to the United Kingdom for a placement.
As part of the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci also funds different types of activities, including projects to transfer or develop innovative practices and networks focusing on topical themes in vocational learning.
