Internship opportunity at the Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA)
Want to get professional experience in fundamental rights? The FRA is looking for young people who can give a fresh point of view and up-to-date academic knowledge to enhance the agency's everyday work. Apply until 7 March 2014, 13.00 CET.
Once a year, the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), based in Vienna, offers paid internships for a period of minimum three and a maximum of twelve months to young graduates, starting on the 1st September of each year. Traineeships are offered in the fields of directorate, administration, human resources and planning, equality and citizens rights, freedoms and justice, communication and outreach.
If you want to apply, you should:
- be a national from EU Member States, EU candidate and potential candidate countries;
- have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (i.e. university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent no longer than 18 months by the closing date for applications;
- have very good knowledge of English and another EU language. Candidates from candidate countries must have very good knowledge of English;
- not have had any kind of training or employment within an EU institution or body.
Trainees are awarded a monthly grant of EUR 1 000 and a reimbursement of their travel expenses; disabled trainees may receive a supplement to their grant.
