European Charlemagne Youth Prize 2014

This prize is awarded to projects undertaken by young people which promote understanding and a shared sense of European identity, and offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community.

Who can apply?

The applicants should be 16-30 years old citizens/residents of an EU country and the eligible projects can be youth events, youth exchanges or online projects with a European dimension. Keep in mind that your project must either have finished within the 12 months before the application deadline or still be running.

How to apply?

Application forms are available online and through the national information offices of the European Parliament. Projects can be submitted until 10 February 2014. 

What is the award?

The prize for the best project is €5000, the second, €3000 and the third, €2000. The three final laureates will be invited to visit the European Parliament. Also, the representatives of all the 28 national projects selected will be invited to a 4-day trip in Aachen, Germany.
