Young Investigator Award for sports scientists

Young scientists can enter the European College of Sport Science’s competition for scientific excellence and win cash to support their projects and research.

 

The European College of Sport Science (ECSS) promotes junior scientists in the field of sports and sports' effect on well-being through the Young Investigators Award (YIA).

 

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the Young Investigator Award, you must be under the age of 32 and either a PhD student (or equivalent) or a graduate who received their PhD fewer than 2 years ago. You also need to be a member of the ECSS before submitting your application.

 

How to apply?

If you meet all the requirements, submit your application to the upcoming ECSS Congress. You should also download and fill in your YIA verification form and return it to the ECSS Office.
