In celebration of European Youth Week the Icelandic NA of youth in Action will be inviting anyone interested to see two youth made documentaries and one short film. All the films are ourcomes of national youth initiatives that have received grants from the Icelandic NA og YiA. During the event other best practice YiA projects will also be awarded.
The documentary Barophobia (fear of gravity) gives a glimpse into the Climbing scene in Iceland with beautiful shots from climbing in Icelandic nature and includes interviews with young Icelandic climbers.
Ofbirta is a short film about a young menally handicaped boy who gets a chance to play the Piano at a consert and the inner turmoil that follows. Ofbirta was shown at the Reykjavik Film Festival (RIFF) in 2012.
