Change in Turkey

On June 7, 2015 is a date that Turkey always will remember: The elections have confirmed the entry of 96 women in the Turkish Parliament

This is the highest number in the history of Turkish politic. In 2011 the number of deputies was 79. Other point of interest is that will be 31 Kurdish women and members of the Christian minority and two representatives of the Yazidi community. HDP Kurdish party had a majority of female deputies in a list of 80 deputies as full. This is a victory for women in that country and a revolution to fight against everything that is happening in Turkey in connection with human rights and the freedom to live their own femininity. We know what happened very recently, when the Turkish leader had forbidden, among many things, to smile in public. Erdogan had announced its considerations on women as inferior to men and with the sole task of taking care to the children. This is because, explained the leader, men and women are different by nature, with different natures and body structure. With this revolution in parliament many things will change about the concept.
