The UNESCO program - Aschberg Bursaries for 2013 promotes the objectives of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2005) and concerns the fields of creative writing, music and visual arts.
UNESCO has launched the program of UNESCO - Aschberg Bursaries for 2013, aimed at young artists, aged 25-35 years (not students) who are interested in art residencies at certain schools from around the world, which cooperate with UNESCO to encourage the mobility of artists.
Interested parties may submit only one application per year and participate in the program only once in their career.
· The applications are submitted directly to the school where the artist is interested. The deadline for applications is different in each school (mid October - late November 2012).
· The duration of the stay must be from one to three months (depending on the school).
· The candidates from the country in which the schools are located are not allowed to apply.
The schools pre-select three candidates and submit to UNESCO all the names. The final selection it depends on the Organization.
