Traineeships in the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA)

You will get international experience in a European organisation while having the opportunity to acquire understanding and practical knowledge of EFSA’s role and work.

 

You may work in the field of plant health, food ingredients, pesticides, emerging risks, communications, human resources, legal, project management, etc. The content of your traineeship depends on the Unit/team you are assigned to.

 

You are eligible to apply if you:

 

  • are a national of an EU member state or a candidate country benefiting from a pre-accession strategy
  • have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent by the closing date for applications;
  • have a good working knowledge of English language - knowledge of other European languages is an asset. 


 

Traineeships start on 1 May or on 1 October each year and last a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.


 

Application forms for both the May and the October session should be sent by e-mail until the application deadline.
