It is an official accreditation certifying that the person who possesses it has the knowledge and skills to develop a specific work activity

Certificates confirms that that person is qualified to perform the job professionally , ie meets the professional profile for the performance of that profession . Different Professional qualifications are listed through the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications ( CNCP ) ( Catálogo Nacional de Cualificaciones Profesionales (CNCP))

The Professional Certificate can be obtained in several ways : by training , will have to overcome all the training modules for the professional certificate , via work experience intended for people who have acquired their professional knowledge with the performance of their profession and have formal accreditation and finally by way of non-formal education , by accumulating partial accreditations competency units comprising the professional certificate .

Professional Certificates are official and valid throughout the national territory . They are issued by the Public Employment Service and the competent bodies of the Autonomous Communities , which assume responsibilities for certification and accreditation of professional qualifications : recognition, evaluation and accreditation of professional competences , including those acquired through work experience or pathways non-formal education , and the management of the National System of Qualifications in the Autonomous Region and working with planning agencies for Training .


These ambitious claims to have the involvement of all actors that make training and are specified in the following objectives :
- Delivering lifelong learning through open learning , flexible and accessible.
- Facilitate transparency of the labor market employers and workers.
- Sort the training subsystem for employment training linked to the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications.
- Contribute to the quality of training provision for employment.
- To contribute to the integration , transfer and recognition among the various offers of training referred to CNCP .


The CNCP comprises the most significant professional qualifications Spanish productive system , organized into five skill levels, 26 professional families with a total of 664 qualifications that constitutes a reference for the development of the training of the Educational System of Vocational Training Programs (PCPI ) , Middle Grade Titles and upper - level , and workplace through


Professional Certificates.
Professional Families : Physical Activity and Sports , Administration and Management; Agrarian Graphic Arts , Arts and Crafts , Trade and Marketing , Building & Civil works , Electrical and Electronics , Energy and Water, Mechanical Manufacturing , Hospitality and Tourism Personal Image , Image and Sound, Food Industries , Extractive Industries , Information and Communications , Installation and Maintenance , Wood, Furniture and Cork ; Maritime and Fisheries , Chemistry , Health , Safety and Environment Sociocultural and Community Services , Textile, Clothing and Leather , Transport and Maintenance Vehicle , Glass and ceramics
The training can be remote , classroom , e-learning or mixed, may also be performed in alternation with employment. The integrated vocational training centers , training centers or institutions authorized and national reference centers will be responsible for providing training.
