Volunteering in the EU and beyond

Volunteering is a great way of contributing to local communities at home or abroad, and at the same time gaining useful experience, developing new skills and making friends. The EU offers many different types of volunteering opportunities with the European Solidarity Corps both in Europe and, in the case of humanitarian aid projects abroad. Volunteering activities are unpaid, but all cost are covered.

If you are between 18 and 30, and ready and willing you can spend between 2 weeks and 12 months as a volunteer, either at home or abroad. You can also volunteer for projects in the area of humanitarian aid if you are between 18 and 35. Find out more:
