SEARCHING BY PERSON
You can search for any individual name as follows:
Name: enter a surname or a first name, in full or in part. The system checks whether any first names or surnames contain the character string you have entered.
Example: William will give a list of people whose name (or surname) contains William such as Williams, Williamson, etc.
Function: this is the post occupied by a person in an institution. All functions are included by default. You can restrict the search by choosing one or more functions in the pop-up list by clicking on the 'Select' button.
Example: Director-General will give a list of people whose function contains the words Director-General.
Organisational entities: all the institutions are included by default. You can restrict the search by choosing one or more institutions from the pop-up list by clicking on the 'Select' button.
Maximum number of results: entering vague criteria can lead to a very high number of replies, and very slow response and processing time. You can therefore restrict the maximum number of results to display if you wish.
Search: click this button to launch the search and receive the list of persons matching the given criteria. You can then select one person and view more detailed information about them.
