Europos savanoriškos veiklos metai – kartu ir šventė, ir iššūkis.
Šventė, nes milijonai europiečių pasiryžę laisvalaikiu be atlygio dirbti savo bendruomenėse, pavyzdžiui, mokyklose, ligoninėse, sporto klubuose, saugoti aplinką, teikti socialines paslaugas ir padėti kitų šalių gyventojams.
Jų ir daugelio tūkstančių savanoriškų organizacijų pastangos neatpažįstamai keičia mūsų gyvenimą. Be savanorių pasaulis būtų žymiai blogesnis!
ESVM – kartu ir iššūkis trims ketvirtadaliams europiečių, kurie neužsiima jokia savanoriška veikla. Jiems norėtume pasakyti, kad ir jie gali daug ką pakeisti.
