Athens Conference

Quality of volunteering
The 3rd EU-level thematic conferences for the European Year of Volunteering 2011 will take place on 3 and 4 November in Athens. The conference will look at the world of volunteering through the eyes of the volunteering organizations, and will examine issues that are important to them. Participants will have the possibility to share experiences of volunteering organisations and to learn from them, as well as to explore possible next steps to support the further development of volunteering in Europe. We expect to have up to 200 participants, mainly from the volunteering NGOs from all fields, but also from business and the National Coordinating Bodies (as representatives of the Member States' authorities).
