Weather

Europe’s weather is generally temperate but check the weather forecast and other climatological information such as average monthly temperatures and rainfall for the places you intend to visit. Look out for any warnings of more severe conditions.

Time zones

Summer time

Daylight saving time begins across the EU on 25 March 2012 when clocks move forward one hour and it ends on 28 October 2012 when clocks are put back one hour. The dates for 2013 are 31 March and 27 October.
