Outcome of the European Convention
The thematic fact sheets describing the results of the Convention set out to summarise, and present as clearly as possible, the main changes proposed by the Convention. Their sole purpose is to inform members of the public.
The fact sheets are not legally binding on the European Commission. They do not claim to be exhaustive and do not represent an official interpretation of the text of the Convention.
In each fact sheet, links to a guide on the Treaty of Nice, when relevant, and also to complete texts of articles from different treaties such as ECSC, EC and EU are offered.
