Message from President Barroso to Mr Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation
It is with great sadness that I learned about the tragic consequences of the floods in the Krasnodar territories where so many people lost their lives.
On behalf of the European Commission and on my own behalf, allow me to offer you and the population of the Russian Federation our sincere condolences and the expression of our deepest sympathy and solidarity with the families of the victims.
