Message of condolences from President Barroso to Mr Dmitriy Medvedev, President of the Russian federation, following the plane accident in Karelia
"I learned about the terrible plane accident yesterday in Karelia causing so many casualties and so much suffering.
On behalf of the European Commission and on my own behalf allow me to offer you our sincere condolences and the expression of our deepest sympathy and solidarity with the families of the victims.
