Message of condolence by President Barroso to Mr Wen Jiabao, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China following the plane accident near Yichun
Message from Mr José Manuel Durão Barroso, President of the European Commission, to His Excellency Mr Wen Jiabao, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China:
"I learned about the terrible plane accident that occurred this Tuesday near Yichun causing so many casualties and so much suffering.
On behalf of the European Commission and on my own behalf allow me to offer you our sincere condolences and the expression of our deepest sympathy and solidarity with the families of all the victims and to the injured our best wishes for a full and swift recovery."
