Statement of European Commission President, José Manuel Barroso, after the tragic incident at the Duisburg "Love Parade"
President Barroso said: "I have learnt with deep sadness of this tragic event. In the name of the Commission, and in my name, I want to express my condolences to Germany, the state of North-Rhine Westphalia and the families of those who died. I want to wish all those who are injured a speedy and full recovery."
