FMD: Press conference details on FMD conference in Brussels, 12-13 December
An International Conference on "Prevention and Control of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD)" will take place tomorrow and Thursday (12-13 December) at the Charlemagne building (Rue de la Loi 170, room S4) in Brussels. Interested media which registered (see IP/01/1667) can attend most of the sessions. Additionally, two press conferences will be organised in the Charlemagne room S4 on Wednesday, 12 December at 13:15 and Thursday, 13 December at 16:30 with Annemie Neyts-Uyttebroeck, Belgian Minister in charge of Agriculture, David Byrne, EU Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, Laurens Jan Brinkhorst, Dutch Minister for Agriculture, Nature Management and Fisheries, Margaret Beckett, UK Secretary of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Lord Larry Whitty on Thursday).
