Januar 2013: Geschäftsklimaindikator weitgehend unverändert

Im Januar 2013 blieb der Geschäftsklimaindikator (BCI) für den Euroraum mit ‑1,09 Punkten weitgehend unverändert. Die Industrieunternehmer beurteilten die aktuellen Auftragsbestände (Gesamt- und Exportaufträge) zwar schlechter, zeigten sich in Bezug auf die künftige Produktion sowie die Produktionsentwicklung der letzten Monate und die Lagerbestände jedoch weniger pessimistisch.

The BCI is based on a factor analysis of the euro area aggregate balances (seasonally adjusted) of five of the monthly questions in the industry survey (only employment and selling-price expectations are excluded).

The next BCI results are due to be published on 27 February 2013.
