The 13th EU-India Ministerial meeting will take place in Brussels on 30th January 2013.

The EU will be represented by High Representative Vice President Catherine Ashton. India will be represented by Minister of External Affairs Salman Khurshid. It is the first time they meet since Minister Khurshid was appointed External Affairs Minister of India.

The meeting will be an opportunity to take stock of progress made in the bilateral relationship since the previous Summit in February 2012. The main discussion will focus on foreign policy issues of common concern and in further developing the bilateral relationship across the bord.

"I am very much looking forward to continuing our extremely close working relationship with India, and to meeting Minister Khurshid," Catherine Ashton said. "India is an extremely important partner for us in the region and in international fora. Since the signature of the Strategic Partnership, our cooperation has gone from strength to strength. I hope we can build on that at the Ministerial meeting."
