Februar 2010: Geschäftsklimaindikator bessert sich weiter
Der Geschäftsklimaindikator (BCI) für den Euroraum ist im Februar zum elften Mal in Folge gestiegen. Allerdings lässt sein vergleichsweise niedriger Stand darauf schließen, dass die Industrieproduktion im Januar 2010 gegenüber dem Vorjahr noch einmal geschrumpft ist. Der Anstieg des BCI spiegelt die positiven Einschätzungen der Unternehmer bei Auftragsbeständen und Produktionserwartungen wider. Die Produktionsentwicklung der letzten Monate wurde sogar noch optimistischer beurteilt. Die Lagerbestände wurden hingegen weiterhin als zu hoch bewertet.
The BCI is based on a factor analysis of the euro area aggregate balances (seasonally adjusted) of five of the monthly questions in the industry survey (only employment and selling-price expectations are excluded).
