On Monday 17 July, the Commission will present its 2017 review of Employment and Social Developments in Europe. This year's edition will focus on the issue of intergenerational fairness.
The annual Employment and Social Developments in Europe review reports on the latest employment and social trends, and reflects on upcoming challenges and possible policy responses. It is the European Commission's main report to provide evidence and analysis and to review trends and upcoming challenges.
Marianne Thyssen, Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility, will give a press conference presenting the highlights of the review on Monday, 17 July, at 11:00 in the Berlaymont press room.
