To celebrate Europe Day in the weeks leading up to the European elections, the EU institutions will open their doors to the public in Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg. Local EU offices in Europe and all over the world will organise a variety of activities and events for all ages.
Each year thousands of people take part in visits, debates, concerts and other events to mark the day and raise awareness about the EU.
Institutions open to the public in Luxembourg on May, 10:
Come and visit the Court of Justice of the European Union responsible for reviewing EU institution's acts, ensuring that Member States comply with the Treaties and interpreting EU law at the request of national courts.
Meet the EU's auditors and learn how they safeguard the financial interests of the EU citizens and help the EU run better. Visit the European Court of Auditors stand in Luxemburg City centre (Place Clairefontaine).
