Quand : 21/01/2013 à 14:00
Où : EESC - Rue Van Maerlant, 3 - Brussels
Thème : Transport et voyages
Organisateur : Comité économique et social européen

The European Commission has announced for early summer 2013 a new legislative initiative in support of Single European Sky implementation. This has been introduced by Commissioner Kallas as "Single European Sky II+" and is expected to address issues such as bringing down operating costs, cleaning up and modernising existing regulation, and designing both performance and institutional matters as triggers for the much needed economic growth in the European aviation sector.

The EESC is currently drawing up an exploratory opinion for the European Commission on "Single European Sky II+".

At the hearing on 21st January we are expecting high-level speakers from the broad range of aviation stakeholders, such as European Institutions, Member States, Air Navigation Service Providers, airlines and airports, and from civil society at large. Transport Commissioner Kallas has confirmed his participation as a keynote speaker.
