The conference will discuss with policy makers and practitioner how to best shape EU support to social innovation in the context of the Social Investment Package for Growth and Cohesion.

The objective of the conference is to address challenges affecting social innovation and consider possible policy responses, on the basis of the lessons learned from social innovation policies and practices implemented by Member States with the support of the European Commission.

Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion László Andor will open the conference.
