The Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council is composed of employment, social protection, consumer protection, health and equal opportunities ministers, who meet around four times a year.

It works to improve citizens’ standard of living and quality of life. To this end securing employment and a high level of social protection in health care, gender equality and other social aspects is a priority.

A presidency briefing, agenda and background note will be published on the Council website closer to the date of the meeting.
