The President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso and all the European Commissioners will be in Cyprus on 5 and 6 July to mark the beginning of the Cyprus presidency of the Council of the EU.
An official opening ceremony of the Presidency will take place on 5 July. The next day, President Barroso will meet with Mr Demetris Christofias, President of the Republic of Cyprus and the European Commissioners will meet with the Cypriot ministers.
