The European Commission, Europeana and the Danish presidency are organising an event for Ministers from the Education, Youth and Culture Council, senior leaders of European memory organisations and leading figures in the creative industries to raise awareness of Europeana among citizens and to demonstrate that online cultural heritage is driver for growth.

A seminar on “Culture for creativity – Recommendation for change” will be followed by a ministerial ceremony attended by President of the European Council Herman van Rompuy and EU Commissioner for the Digital Agenda Neelie Kroes.

Attendance is by invitation only.
