Tallinn's Nômme Old Men's Club is working with authorities towards the creation of similar organisations for seniors throughout Estonia, encouraging citizens to live an active life even after retirement.
Among the regular activities programmed by the club, opened in 2009, are some popular computing classes, where members learn the basics of e-government and to use Skype and e-mail services.
Nômme Old Men's Club is also participating in an exchange initiative ("The Story of My Life"), where they get to meet and exchange experiences with younger generations of other countries.
