The Festival Vander Generaties platform for the European Year 2012

The Platform of Dutch NGOs for the European Year 2012 is actively involved in the promotion and organisation of activities related to the Year in The Netherlands.
Some of the activities promoted throughout 2012 by this 32-member platform are:
- The workshop (150 participants) "Generations of migrants" during the annual 50+Fair (90,000 visitors)
- An intergenerational chorus, which produced and performed a succesful musical entitled “Now or never” on the solidarity aspects of the Dutch pensions and social system.
- The platform is also behind a series of thematic film festivals named “Forever Young”. The first one will be taking place in December 2012 in Amsterdam.
The goal of the plaftorm is to reach out to as many people as possible and show in the Festival Vander Generaties website the multitude of activities and initiatives taking place in the Netherlands during the European Year 2012.
