The Government of Liechtenstein has launched a photo competition about the topic "Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations".
The competition is looking for colourful pictures showing details of everyday life situations connected to solidarity between generations, such as people talking, laughing, working or playing.
Participation is open to amateur photographers willing to contribute with their vision to the European Year 2012.
The three best pictures will receive vouchers from a shopping centre in Liechtenstein.
Entries may be submitted online until September 2. The winners will be announced at the Generations Festival, on October 1st 2012.

Liechtenstein's network of social support systems is principally coordinated and led by the Ministry of Social Affairs, which is responsible for a wide range of different areas. The main focus of the Ministry’s work currently lies with policy areas related to senior citizens and on ensuring the financial viability of the country's old-age and survivors' insurance system. The Ministry follows a holistic approach in policy measures concerning senior citizens.
