Digi Me is a photo and video competition which aims to showcase the theme of Active Ageing and Solidarity between Generations in Cyprus. The competition, organised as a commitment to the European Year 2012, is open to any person regardless of their age or nationality. The two winning submissions will be shown across Cyprus and other EU members states.
Entries will be judged not only on their relevance to the proposed theme and their artistic merit, but also on the attention they receive from the online public, i.e. on how much the author actively promotes their entry online, measured by the number of people who tweet about it, like it on Facebook, or comment on it in YouTube.
Films cannot be more than five minutes in length and must include a short written description of the project. The winner of each category (photo and video) will receive an electronic tablet. Three honourable mentions will be awarded 100 Euro vouchers for electronic gadgets.
