SeniorLab is a physical “living-lab” in the municipality of Santos de Maimona (Badajoz) and a virtual rural network, where elderly interact in order to achieve the best design of the products or services to improve their quality of life. This Spanish project assumes that any person has the ability to design and provide solutions to their own needs and daily problems.

The main objectives are:
-       Create new leisure activities for future senior citizens
-       Convince the market about the potential of these activities
-       Use emotional design
-       Achieve full accessibility to technology
-       Improve the integration of machines into senior citizens' lives.

During the European Year for Active Ageing 2012 SeniorLab will promote active ageing organising activities with older population in order to encourage them to share their experiences with technology and develop physical recovery methodologies focused on the elderly.
