The French Nuclear Safety Authority in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, the World Health Organization, the European Commission and three French Societies on Radiation Oncology, Medical Physics and Radioprotection are organising an International Conference on Modern Radiotherapy: Advances and Challenges in Radiation Protection of the Patients, to be held in Versailles, France.

The conference will cover paradigms and challenges of radiotherapy in its different modalities, accidents and lessons identified, regulatory activities, clinical audits, controls and quality assurance.

The conference will be of interest to private individuals and organisations involved in the field of safety in radiotherapy, in particular: health and safety authorities, health professionals, patient associations and medical device manufacturers.
