The European Parliament is looking for assistant curators and conservation and collection management assistants to be recruited as permanent staff (AST3) for the House of European History (HEH).  


As an assistant curator, you will help the curator(s) with permanent exhibitions and support the organisation of temporary and travelling exhibitions.

As a conservation and collection management assistant(conservator-restorer), you will assist the conservation and collection manager with the preservation and management of the HEH collection and of objects on loan.


To apply for one of these positions, you should have:

  • post-secondary education in a related field and at least 3 years' relevant professional experience;
  • secondary education and at least 6 years' relevant professional experience.

You also need:

  • EU citizenship;
  • a thorough knowledge of an official EU language (C1); and
  • a satisfactory knowledge of English, French or German (B2).


Location: Brussels

Salary: EUR 3 424,90 (indicative monthly starting salary for a 40-hour working week).
