Macroeconomics

Academic experience:

  • minimum: university education, preferably post-graduate
  • fields: economics essential, preferably specialised in one of the following: finance, applied macroeconomics or quantitative analysis

Professional experience:

  • minimum: six years' professional experience in macroeconomics
  • fields: international economic/financial institution, national public administration, and/or academic/policy/research institution

Typical duties:

  • conducting economic analysis, modeling, surveillance, forecasts and adjustment programmes at national, Eurozone and EU level

Financial economics

Academic experience:

  • minimum: university education, preferably post-graduate
  • fields: economics or finance essential, preferably focusing on one of the following: applied economics, financial economics, quantitative analysis, corporate finance, statistics, or mathematical finance

Professional experience:

  • minimum: six years' professional experience related to the financial sector
  • fields: banking/other financial institution, national/international supervisory body, and/or academic/policy/research institution

Typical duties:

  • conducting economic analysis and surveillance of financial markets in the euro area and the EU, including for regulatory purposes or the development of financial instruments
