You can also consult the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union and the Conditions of Employment of other servants of the Union for information on staff rights, obligations and working conditions including recruitment, careers, pay and benefits.
Notice of Competition
This is the official, legal text governing the organisation of a competition. It contains all information specific to a particular competition (for example, duties, eligibility requirements, description of the tests). It is published in the Official Journal of the EU and on the announcement page of this website (see 'current job opportunities') when a competition opens for applications.
General rules governing open competitions
This document sets out the general rules and procedures common to all open competitions. It has the same legal status as the Notice of Competition and should be read alongside it. It is published in the Official Journal and available at the link above.
(Please note: the above general rules apply to all competitions published after 01/03/2014. They replace the former Guide to Open Competitions which still applies to all competitions published up until 28/02/2014)
Contract Agent (CAST) / Temporary Agent Selections
Call for Expression of Interest

It contains all information specific to a particular selection procedure (for example, duties, eligibility requirements, description of the tests). It is published on the announcement page of this website (see 'current job opportunities') when a selection procedure is open for applications.
